Culture Cultivation with Coach Lisa

WHAT IT IS AND HOW IT WORKS

Here’s a summary of the Culture Cultivation program, our process, and how we help you create a successful, positive and profitable culture.

One of the most important things to know upfront:  While positive change and results begins to happen immediately, changing your businessculture is a process, not an overnight fix.

TEAM ASSESSMENT

Not just another “personality test.” This is in-depth team assessment no ordinary online assessment can deliver. We dig deep into your culture and find out where we need to improve and what is working well now.

Problems We Address

  • Communication breakdowns between staff, leadership and clients.

  • With our DISC assessment and debrief, we identify issues within the culture that management are not aware of.

  • We help staff feel heard and appreciated.

  • We explain how outdated philosophies, like "Treat others the way YOU want to be treated," prevent allowing individual communication needs from being met.

  • We assess behavioral styles and team issues that cause individuals to not feel valued.

The Process

  • We begin with the DISC assessment, a tool that helps improve teamwork, communication, and productivity in the workplace.

  • Debrief: Each person will spend 45 minutes on a scheduled ZOOM call with us to go over their individual DISC results.

  • Our findings encourage new self-awareness and communication tips and set the stage for training options and solutions.

  • Our assessment starts with the positive. We review Positive Word Descriptors to learn individual behavioral styles and the strengths they bring.

  • Our DISC assessment explores areas for personal development and improvement.

The Results

  • Individual staff members learn how they come across to others and how to interact with other behavioral styles.

  • Employees become less reactive to those around them.

  • Each staff member learns better communication skills within the team.

  • We take the "heat" out of common communications issues.

CONSCIOUS LEADER COAChING

Problems We Address

  • The owner/client is not setting and following through on goals.

  • A change in the business is needed but not happening.

  • The owner just needs someone to listen. It can definitely be lonely at the top.

The Process

  • The owner/client fills out a comprehensive "getting to know you" packet.

  • We review and establish what you want to get out of the coaching relationship.

  • We set up an initial timeframe for our coaching relationship.

The Results

  • Better self-awareness and awareness of your team's needs.

  • We work together to get your goals accomplished.

  • The owner/client becomes a better leader and communicator, and we create a more successful business

COACHING FOR STAFF

Problems We Address

  • The staff members are not setting and following through on goals.

  • A staff member has asked for coaching (my favorite).

  • The staff member is not meeting goals and the business owner wants a coach to document what the employee is doing wrong (We teach a better solution).

The Process

  • The staff member and I set up a schedule and move forward.

  • We review and establish what the staff member wants to get out of the coaching relationship.

  • We set up an initial time frame for our coaching relationship.

  • I never break the confidentiality of the coaching relationship with the employee. Even IF the company is paying for the coaching.

The Results

  • More staff goals are accomplished - both individually and as a team.

  • A happier and more productive work environment evolves.

  • A happier and more productive staff creates a more profitable and successful business.

HOW THE DISC ASSESSMENT WORKS

How to get closed-off staff members to open up to the importance and value of a DISC personality assessment

If you think your staff won’t like the idea of taking the DISC personality assessment, you’re not alone. I’ve heard this from clients many times before. I’ve even had members of my own staff not want to take the assessment.

What’s the KEY to getting your employees to see the value and agree to take the DISC assessment? In short, it’s all about clear, honest communication. Which I wrote a short, helpful blog post about. Here’s a few key tidbits:

  • Have a conversation. Or bring in a coach like me to have it.

  • Ask them about their objections and dispel the myths.

  • Make it all about them. Which it is!
